Love the card created with a FABULOUS floral set called Perennial Beauty. This set is on my wishlist with hopes for near future to add to my collection.
Congratulations, Carolyn! Please contact me at and I can get the prize set up for you. And guess what, Carolyn, since it's your favorite, we are going to dig in some more about this  Perennial Beauty.

Perennial Beauty Stamp & Die is truly awesome as the die cuts perfectly.

for you-001

Since the hibiscus is quite large, I decided to die cut the red one and then mount it with the purple one together in one piece. Not only this saves a bit of space, it also looks more polished and less bulky. If you see the following photo, it would make a lot of sense!?

for you

For the background, I actually stamped one of the hibiscus lightly with my favorite green ink (Frayed Leaf). I then added the splatter with Altenew Shimmer Spray Forest Glade and Green Leaf.

I have yet to share my how-to with this Color-layering Stenciled card...I did not forgot. Thanks for sticking around. I will share it soon as soon as I am able to.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Create a Scene with Watercolors

Hello friends!

I am popping in with a quick post about watercoloring.
This new Some Bunny Special is absolutely darling and perfect for creating a cute scene!

Watercoloring is definitely soothing and therapeutic to do.  I love using Ganzai Tambi Watercolors
( see here) as the mixing offers so many coloring possibilities. The large set of Ganzai Tambi Watercolors  is currently out of stock, but the 24 color set  offers great value and is a great alternative.

Like everything else, watercoloring takes a lot of practice. If you do not mind spending the time practicing, you will get really good result. As for me? I am always practicing. 😁

The key is to know when to add more water and when to stay dry. As long as you know the balance, you are good to go. I apologize that my "advice/tip" seems vague, but it really is a trial and error process.

This card sure makes me feel that Spring is definitely in the air! Hope that you feel the same, too.

It's my turn to do Stamp Focus!

I was assigned to share multiple cards with you over Altenew with Simple Fruits. This is actually not a difficult task since this set has so many gorgeous fruit images designed by my dear DT mate/friend May Sukyong Park.

Altenew File4

I wanted to show off  some of the yummy fruit in one card. I made inlaid/partial die with 4 in a row and then highlighted the orange on the side! This card is not hard to do at all. All you need is some planning ahead and you can assemble it like a puzzle.

My next card is about GRAPES!

I can't decide the type of grapes I love more--purple or green ones. So I stamped BOTH!! 😀

With the Simple Fruits matching die, bunching up the two together seem like the thing to do!
Altenew File2

I love how the matching die can help making the design seamless! There is no overlapping! In this case, I made the pear into one piece as they surely fit the theme! As for the background, I applied two Altenew Metallic Shimmer Sprays: Caramel Toffee and Warm Sunshine.

The Altenew Gold Foil Card Stock completes the polished and perfect look. This can be used for  weddings, anniversaries or just because... type of cards.
I want to create a warm and fuzzy one. So, this is it.

Altenew File5

This card is all about colors! The Parchement paper from Altenew make the colors pop even more!
